2013 BMW 7-Series Facelift with Revised Engines

Great news for BMW fans: Bavarian automaker is facelifting its 7-Series sedan for the 2013 model year. What’s new? On the outside, facelifted 7-Series gets the new LED headlamps with corona rings, which are accompanied by the modified grille with nine slats instead of the previous 12, a revised front bumper, new indicators under the mirrors and a thin chrome strip connecting the two slim reflectors.

Jeep recalls nearly 68,000 Wrangler vehicles

Chrysler recalling approximately 67,872 Jeep Wrangler vehicles over a potential issue with the transmission skid plate. The safety recall involves vehicles from the 2010 model year, equipped with automatic transmissions. It’s been found that debris can collect on the skid plate that protects the transmission, leading to the risk of a fire if the debris makes contact with the nearby catalytic converter.

Acura recalling over 52,000 TL sedans

Acura recalling approximately 52,615 TL sedans. The first safety recall involves vehicles from the 2007 and 2008 model years. The problem: a faulty power steering hose that could, over time, deteriorate and develop a fluid leak. A leaky power steering hose “could lead to loss of power steering assistance or, if it leaks onto a catalytic converter it may result in smoke, or in the worst case, fire.” Acura states that no crashes, injuries or fires have been reported because of this issue.
