Chevrolet promotes upcoming 2013 Malibu Turbo with another test track video on Youtube. Mark Meyers, GM Global Vehicle Performance Manager, tries out the Chevrolet Malibu Turbo LTZ at the Milford Proving Grounds.

“The all-new turbocharged engine showcases just how capable the new Malibu is, and the turbocharged Malibu is perfect for customers who want a midsize sedan that is fun to drive under a wide range of real-world conditions,” said Mark Meyers. “With its global pedigree and European tuning, the new Malibu has a robust body structure, premium steering and suspension, and substantial four-wheel disc brakes.”

Power for 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Turbo comes courtesy of an all-new 2.0L turbocharged engine rated at 259Hp and 260 lb.-ft. of peak torque sustained between 1,700 and 5,500 rpm.

The new Turbo model can go from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph. It also has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. Scheduled to arrive in Chevrolet showrooms later this fall, the new Malibu Turbo starts at $27,710 for the LT grade and $30,925 for the better equipped LTZ, with both prices including a $995 dealer freight charge.
