Czech carmaker Skoda Auto yesterday unveiled Octavia Scout, based on the Octavia Combi 4×4 car. The 2007 Octavia Scout estate rides 40mm higher than the Octavia Combi and 16mm higher than the 4×4 version. Skoda announced that it is expanding its plans for China. With production of Skoda’s Octavia scheduled to spool up in 2007 at Volkswagen’s plant in Shanghai (China), the company announced that it will add its Fabia and Superb models to its line.
