The new Auris is essentially a hatch version of the new Corolla for European and Japan customers, which has not yet been unveiled. 2007 Auris will be shown at the Bologna motor show in December. Toyota is developing a tiny 2-seat microcar, called the Aygo, for US market. Designed to compete directly with the ForTwo, the Aygo will be the Japanese automaker’s smallest U.S. offering to date.
