Jeep has released photos of a new 2007 Wrangler Unlimited four-door. The Wrangler Unlimited boasts the same modular-style removable top that engenders a lot of added flexibility, functioning as a t-top of sorts, a targa, and full-blown, wind-in-the-hair convertible.

The bigger dimensions allow for an interior that??™s larger than the inner sanctums of the Civic, Corolla and even the Acura TL. It’s clear that Hyundai is aiming the Elantra directly at both Japanese small sedans and will likely undercut them in price by a large margin.

Kia Sedona
February 15th, 2006 · 1 Comment

Kia Motors has anounced Kia Sedona 2006-model redesign, arriving in dealerships this month.
Although the Sedona’s base price has increased significantly, so has the quality and content.
The basics: The 3.8-liter all-aluminum engine is shared with the Hyundai Santa Fe and Azera. The new engine is smoother than the underpowered 3.5-liter iron-block engine it replaces, and has considerably more power and torque.
Despite growth in nearly every dimension, the Sedona shed more than 400 pounds in the redesign. Most of it came from the lighter engine, high-tensile steel in the body, and a lighter-weight transmission and rear suspension.
Notable features: Standard features include cruise control, stability control, traction control, CD player, tire-pressure monitors, power windows and mirrors, keyless locking with alarm, tri-zone air conditioning, four-wheel antilock disc brakes and six standard airbags with a full-length side curtain for all three rows.
The base model stickers at $23,665, including freight.
Third-row seats fold into the floor. Second-row seats weigh about 60 pounds each, fold forward and can be removed. Second-row passengers have windows that go down.

Pontiac Pursuit
February 13th, 2006 · 1 Comment
General Motors unveil the new Pontiac Pursuit on Chicago Auto Show. The coupe will be a high-performance relative of the Chevrolet Cobalt coupe with some Pontiac influences. The vehicle will give the Buick-Pontiac-GMC channel a shot at the small-car market, a source close to GM says. GM is still considering names for it. Pontiac intends to launch the coupe as a 2007 model and likely will start production this fall in Lordstown, Ohio.
The car will be priced similarly to the Chevrolet Cobalt SS supercharged coupe, which starts at $20,490, including shipping. In Canada, GM sells a Cobalt sibling called the Pontiac Pursuit.
