Volkswagen has revealed its 2008 Volkswagen Tiguan SUV. The compact crossover will arrive at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Volkswagen will offer the SUV with turbocharged direct injection engines. This “high-performance turbocharging” significantly reduces fuel consumption and emissions, while delivering respectable performance.

Engine choices include a 140 and 170 horsepower diesels, plus 150, 170, and 200 hp gasoline powerplants. Both TDIs already meet the limits of the Euro-5 standard first coming into effect in 2009.

The German Automobile Association ADAC was released results of a new tests for the China import. The result is catastrophic: the Brilliance BS6 sedan was completely destroyed. Only there were one of five stars with the crash according to the strict EuroNCAP rules. ???Only the LandWind was worse???, says General German Automobile Association speaker Maximilian bricklayer

Chinese carmaker want to hit the Chinese lable Brilliance on the German market. ???The BS6 is a Premium sedan at the savings price???, promised the chinese importer. It actually cracks now enormously – however not completely in such a way, as the Chinese introduced themselves.

The 2009 BMW’s 7-series test mule was caught in camo. A longer wheelbase, partnered with a wider track, will be utilized to keep with BMW’s handling ethos, while new engine choices, including a hybrid and twin-turbo V8 diesel will provide motivation. A new ZF eight-speed gearbox is almost certain, along with a revised iDrive system and several new safety features.

Look out for the refresh in 2009, with a full redesign sometime next decade.

Engine options will include a 200bhp 2.7-liter V6 turbodiesel, a gas-powered 2.8-liter V6, and, for the first time, a 4WD version is in the cards. Inside, the car also gets a major revamp and upgrade.
In Britain, the Vauxhall version of the car will possibly be called the Insignia.
The car should unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show later this year. Later on, the Vectra will arrive in the U.S. as the next-gen Saturn Aura.

Lexus LF-A

Look at the first time snapshots of Lexus LF-A prototype without disguise. This front-engined supercar is supposed to be powered by a 500-horsepower V10, but may end up as an advanced high-performance hybrid. Lexus executives have hinted that the LF-A could be the next F model to join their new performance line-up alongside the IS-F.

This V10 supercar make its official debut at the Car Show in Frankfurt during September.
