Maserati has reveiled its all-new sixth generation Quattroporte luxury sports sedan. The new Maserati Quattroporte will make its world premiere at the upcoming 2013 North American Auto Show in Detroit in January 2013 and go on sale later in the same year. Maserati released a set of photos of both the exterior and interior, but it is not divulging any specific details about the vehicle.

Maserati will build only 12 new monster cars in total, each with a price tag of a million Euros ($1,275,000), plus tax. The automaker says the car is aimed at a select number of clients “who will enjoy the possibility to test their driving capability in the most exclusive gentlemen drivers’ environment” ?? that is, for exclusive use during private track sessions or at Maserati exhibitions.

A new Maserati GT coupe will be show at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. Now the prototype testing in Sweden.

The Maserati GT coupe is a 2+2-seater, just a bit shorter than the Quattroporte. The new GT will have a double-wishbone suspension with the Skyhook adaptive damping system, and the rear-mounted Cambiocorsa clutchless gearbox as used in the Quattroporte. Power will come from the Ferrari-developed 5.0-liter V-8, derived from the current car’s 4.2-liter engine; with new cylinder heads and induction system it’s expected to produce an estimated 470 hp.
