Volkswagen has released official images of its IROC Coupe concept. The new VW’s coupe will unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September.
The IROC Concept features:
3.3 inches lower than Golf GTI
2+2 seating
five-point racing harnesses up front
10.6 cubic feet of trunk space (more with rear seats folded)
210-hp TSI engine
front-wheel drive
19-inch alloy wheels.
VW will build about 60,000 Irocs, price started at $26,000 in base. Iroc will begin start by end of 2008.
i never thought VW would start to design really hot cars, but this one here is giving me a boner.. when i saw the computer simulations in the car magazines, i thought the new Volkswagen headlights and grille design of the scirocco sucked, but now..
I think this is something wonderfull that VW and Germany made.. I love the old corrado and 04R32 and VR6 engines. I have one my self VR6 Golf GTI 24V. and i just cant get enugh of fun driving the car…
