Look at this first official photo of the upcoming Toyota’s Avensis, which has been leaked on the net. The next generation Toyota Avensis mid-size sedan will make a debut at the 2008 Paris International Motor Show on October 2. The Toyota Avensis has been fully redesigned featuring a crispier and more dynamic styling than the outgoing model. It is rumour that new Toyota Avensis will get a new line-up of engines with lower consumption and reduced CO2 figures.

Hyundai Veracruz (euro iX55)

Hyundai will reveal its European version of the Veracruz SUV at the Moscow International Auto Show. The Hyundai Veracruz will be called ‘iX55’ in the European and Russian markets.

There are no styling changes compared to the North American version of the large SUV. However, Hyundai supported in its Spartan press release that the iX55’s suspension has been reworked.

The iX55 will be available in Europe and Russia with a new V6 turbo diesel engine delivering an output of 240 PS. The Hyundai iX55 is expected to go on sale before the end of the year.

Another strange car accident in Russia. This Bentley Continental GT Coupe ended up in the fields. Sometimes Russians drive too fast and conflict with a speed bump. After that the Bentley Continental GT Coupe handled the impact with the two wooden poles remarkably well and second, that the driver should feel really lucky that he didn’t end up on the train rails.

2010 Cadillac SRX

Cadillac released the first official photos of its next generation SRX crossover that is in essence the production version of the Provoq Concept. The all-new SRX will make its debut at the Paris Show in October, with sales set to start worldwide in mid-2009. With an overall length of about 4,580 mm or 180.3 in, the five-seater SRX is about roughly the same size as the BMW X3 meaning that its far more compact (and lighter) than the outgoing seven-seat SRX.

“The next-generation SRX, along with the new CTS Sport Wagon, showcases Cadillac taking its dramatic design into new directions, particularly cars and crossovers that are the right size at the right time for today’s luxury consumers,” said Jim Taylor, Cadillac general manager.

2010 Nissan 370Z

Nissan 370Z spotted on the street! The car fan from VWVortex board caught a mildly disguised Nissan 370Z on the freeway. The Nissan 370Z expected to make debut in Los Angeles this November.

It’s been widely reported that the 2010 370Z will be shortened by four inches and will ride on a slightly widened track, but without a profile shot, it’s hard to tell. The rear three-quarter view shows reworked rear windows that are slightly smaller, with the bottom edge angling steeply towards the roofline. The rear glass of the hatch is sunken in, and incorporates a small spoiler into the trunk lid, while the fenders appear wider than the outgoing model and the tail lamps are equipped with LEDs.

Up front, the restyled headlamps are obscured by the camouflage, but the redesigned front fascia is easily identifiable, as is the tweaked hood, which features a slight power bulge flanked by two accent lines stretching from the windshield to the bumper.

2009 Acura TL

3 months ago the new Acura TL was caught in camo on road testing. Today we have a first official photos of the all-new 2009 TL Sedan.

The new Acura TL is larger than the outgoing model as it rides on a 1.4-inch longer wheelbase and is longer and wider thus promising to offer improved interior space. The 2009 Acura TL will be offered with a choice of two powertrains.

The entry-level 2009 TL is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which producing 280 HP and 254 lb-ft of torque. According to Acura, the FWD TL has projected EPA fuel economy ratings of 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.

The top-notch TL SH-AWD is equipped with Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system while power comes from a beefier 3.7-liter V6 engine delivering 305 HP and 275 lb-ft of torque. Projected EPA fuel economy ratings for the TL SH-AWD are 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. Like the basic FWD version, the TL SH-AWD gets a Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic featuring steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters.

The new Volkswagen Golf VI will be offered with a wide variety of turbocharged TSI and TFSI petrol and TDI diesel units, including various versions of the VW Group’s 1.4 TSI and 2.0 TFSI engines. The VW Golf GTI, which is expected in late 2009, will be offered with a 2.0 TFSI engine delivering around 240 HP. While this has not been confirmed yet, that the Golf R32’s successor will use the Audi S3’s 2.0 TFSI developing close to 280 HP.
