The two-seater 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLK with the retractable hardtop was spotted undergoing hot-weather testing alongside heavily cladded prototypes in the infamous Death Valley in the southwestern United States.
The 2011 SLK will bring a more angular design themed after the SLS AMG ‘Gullwing’ supercar along with a revised chassis and new engine options that are said to include for the first time a turbo diesel unit.
The new 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLK sports sedan will make its official debut at Paris Motor Show in September.
