Porsche 911 GT3 RS

This spy photo prove that the facelift handed down to Porsche’s 911 line and given to the Coupe, Cabriolet, Targa and Turbo models recently, will soon become available for the high-performance GT3 RS, too.

The new GT3 RS test mule was caught in the French mountains were it was testing on public roads.

As you see, cosmetic changes have been limited and the car will retain its “GT3 RS” side decals, coloured wheels, decorative strip and side mirrors finished in contrasting paint.

RS’s weight-saving components will include a polycarbonate rear window, and carbon fibre bonnet and rear wing. The 3.6-litre flat-six, which it shares with the GT3, will be required to pound out 305 kW. This will propel the car to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds before it goes on to hit a top speed of 310 km/h.

2009 Honda Insight Hybrid

Take a look at the new photos of the 2009 Honda Insight. The new Honda’s hybrid will make its debut at the Detroit auto show on January 11. The new five passenger, five door Insight hybrid will go on sale on both sides of the Atlantic ocean in the spring of 2009.

The production model’s design has been toned down. Aside from the less sloppy roofline and smoothed out body creases, changes include the down-to-earth headlamps, mirrors and tail lamps, a less aggressively styled front bumper.

Peugeot 3008 Crossover

Hot news from France. The new Peugeot’s 3008 crossover has been caught on public roads completely undisguised. Peugeot 3008 will make its debut at the Geneva auto show this March. Spy photos reveal that little has changed from Peugeot’s Prologue concept. The new compact crossover is based on the Peugeot 308 hatchback platform.

3008 Crossover Powertrain options will include aspirated and turbocharged variants of the PSA – BMW Group co-developed 1.6-liter petrol unit and a wide range of HDi diesel engines. The Peugeot 3008 Crossover is expected to arrive to European dealerships in the second part of 2009 year.

Chery S16

Take a look at this ugly chinese car. Chery Auto plans to start produce this new mini car in April or May 2009.

The Chery S16 was unveiled as a concept at the 2005 Shanghai Auto Show, and since then it has been shown to the world under the name of Chery QQ5 and Chery QQ Sport.

The new Chery S16 features the exterior look and styling elements of concept cars. The C-pillar looks like the D-pillar area of the Chevy Equinox. The front and rear of the model are symmetrically designed.

Measuring 3,747mm x 1,597mm x 1,514mm, the S16 is first two-door four-seater mini model, a bit longer and wider than the Chery QQ.

2010 Jaguar XF-R

Jaguars XF sedan mule has been spied on public roads. Previous spy shots see here. This lightly camouflaged XF-R mule with a 500 horsepower supercharged V-8 churning away under the hood. The 5.0-liter eight banks engine is an all new direct injection engine as well, meaning that it’s likely cleaner and more frugal than big Jaguar engines of the past.

The XF-R will have a few subtle clues about its performance potential as well, with bigger shoes, a small rear lip spoiler, chromed quad exhaust tips, and revised bumpers.

This spy photo arrived from the Middle East. The new Nissan Patrol fill some of the american markets’s holes left by the cancellation of the Armada and Infiniti QX56.

It is expected that the new 2010 Nissan Patrol will remain body-on-frame, and that it will pick up a 4.8L V8 for the engine bay. Other engine options will likely include a 4.0L V6 and 3.0L V6 diesel that is rumored to produce 265 hp and 405 ft-lbs of torque.

Volvo S60 Concept

The Volvo prepare its new S60 Concept for Detroit’s Auto Show in next month. The Volvo S60 Concept demonstrates that new sedan will ditch the rather conservative duds it currently wears in favor of a new, much more aggressive visual ensemble. Profile views show off a coupe-ish roofline, while pointed headlights extend back onto the fenders and flank a reshaped, more detailed grille up front. The concept’s rear is similarly detailed, with LED taillamps that hide the various signal colors until they are actually illuminated.

Audi prepare its all-new A5 and S5 Cabriolet for debut at the Geneva Auto show in March 2009. The new A5/S5 Cabrios will replace the open-top A4. Audi has chosen a fully automatic classic fabric top that opens in 15 sec and closes in 17 sec.

Mitsubishi UK and its race team has developed a special tuning kit for UK-only Mitsubishi Evo X FQ-400.
The new car promises to be the fastest and most expensive Evo yet.

The 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo engine has been boosted with revised ECU programming and a new exhaust to produce around 405bhp, although Mitsubishi hasn’t finalised the figures.
