Honda officially unveiled the 2008 Honda Accord, the eighth generation of the Honda’s best-seller. The new Honda Accord is available as a sedan, which has grown large enough to be classified a large car by the EPA, or a coupe. There are three basic engines available, including a 3.5L iVTEC V6 producing 273 horsepower and 250 ft-lbs. of torque. It also features a new Variable Cylinder Management system when ordered in the sedan that can power the vehicle on three, four or all six cylinders to achieve an excellent 19/29 mpg. The other two mills are a 2.4L inline-four producing 200 horsepower/170 ft-lbs., and another 2.4L producing 180 horsepower/166 ft-lbs. The new Honda Accord can be ordered with a five-speed automatic, while four-cylinder models can also be had with a 5-speed manual transmission, and the V6 Coupe can be optioned with a six-speed manual

Audi A3 cabriolet
Audi attempting to make all cars to all people. So meet the A3 convertible.
The A3 cabrio version of Audi’s two-door hatch was caught in testing. The rear-seat passengers apparently will get rollover protection in the form of two hoops behind their heads, and while retractable hardtops are all the rage, previous reports, and these new shots, reveal that Audi will be sticking with a soft-top.

2008 Mazda5 Facelift
Mazda???s compact MPV, the Mazda5, after three years of wearing the same clothes will get a styling update for 2008. Caught during hot weather testing in the southwest U.S., the most noticeable change on this prototype is the new front end styling with a more V-shaped grille opening and a less boxy looking lower bumper. Chrome rings around the fog lights add a sporty touch. Headlights have also been redesigned, with the new clear plastic lens protruding slightly beyond the contours of the sheet metal. At the rear, the tail lights now use LED???s for the brake lights. Wheels have also been changed from the plain 5-spoke design to a 17-inch design.
Engine is still the 2.3 liter 4-cylinder making 153 horsepower, but the optional automatic transmission is upgraded from a 4-speed to a new 5-speed design which improves gas mileage. Standard transmission continues to be a 5-speed manual on the Sport and Touring models.

Lamborghini releases 2008 model year changes.
For the Gallardo will be adding an onboard computer, iPod connectivity with USB, heated mirrors, along with Q-citura stitching that originally could only be found on the Nera model. The Murcie will also get the iPod connection and USB port, along with sat-nav, perforated leather steering wheel and the option of having the roof of the Roadster painted either dark blue, grey or black.

Audi RS6 Avant
Look at the fresh spy photo of the new Audi RS6 Avant. Sources predict the addition of a turbocharger to the S6???s 5.2-liter V10 engine, which should generate something between 550 and 600 horsepower. Audi releases the new RS6 sedan at the Frankfurt Motor Show in next month.
Renault Clio Estate
The new version of the 3-door Clio Grand Tour model will be shown in Frankfurt (Clio Sport Tourer in the UK). The Clio Grand Tour grows an extra set of doors to maximize utility and is very conventional looking. Renault has released next to nothing in the way of details, so it looks like we’re going to have to wait until closer to the show to learn more.

Clio Estate at the Frankfurt Motor Show
Clio Estate will receive its world premiere at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. Its design echoes the staple lines of Clio Grand Tour Concept, which was unveiled at the last Geneva Motor Show. Clio Estate is firmly focused on leisure pursuits. It strikes a perfect balance between sleek design with its angled rear screen and spaciousness with the generous volumes of its luggage area (439 liters). At 4.2 metres in length it is a compact vehicle that builds on the strengths of Clio III in terms of driving pleasure, interior space, comfort, and safety.
2010 BMW X4
Christa Lehmann has a few shots of an early X4 prototype, which should slot in between the X3 and X5. The BMW’s test mule seen here appears to make liberal use of 3-series wagon bits, albeit on a longer and wider scale. That said, it seems likely that the running gear will be shared with the X3, and while styling is likely far from finalized, and an X6-like coupe profile seems likely (which explains the renderings seen to the right and in the high-res gallery below).
As speculated, the new BMW X4 will arrive on 2010.
2008 Kia Pro-cee’d
Kia has released preview images of the new three-door hatchback. The 2008 Kia Pro-cee’d will unveiling at Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The Pro-cee’d is the most sportiest in Kia’s cee’d lineup. The new rear shot reveals a sloping rear hatch and thick C-pillar that meet a near vertical rear end. It’s very clean, tidy and all one color, which gives the ass end of the Pro-cee’d a very solid appearance.
The 2008 Kia Pro-cee’d will feature 1.4L and 1.6L gas engines, as well as a 1.6L diesel.
2008 Opel Vectra
The new Opel Vectra has already been snap-shotted in camo. Now Opel’s test mule was caught on video at the N??rburgring race track in Germany.
The next generation Opel Vectra debuted at the 2006 Paris Motor Show as the Opel GTC concept, and is expected to make its production model debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2008. Later on, the Vectra will arrive in the U.S. as the next-gen Saturn Aura.
