Would You Like To Drive A Work of Art

It’s amazing – with every new car generation, there’s always something car makers are bragging about. For example, a few years back, the big trend was on how people should gain more mpg while economizing on fuel. But then again, in 2013 that has changed a little bit – 2013 and 2014 models are more about fuel efficiency. BMW has focused on this for a long while, and has driven an entire marketing campaign with this particular idea in mind, but it just started to kick-in on a broad spectrum.

Not to mention the fact that come 2013, sportiness is the thing people are looking for in cars. While car insurance might rise a bit with sporty cars, it might be wise to consider the 21st contest. If you’re wondering what that might be – consider a March Madness giveaway that focuses on 21st century insurance sweepstakes. Neat, right?

Now, let’s get back to our 2013 trends – what is there in terms of cars? What should you be waiting for this year? For middle-class owners, here are a few works of art you might want to consider:

1.) 2014 Audi A3

Coming out mid-2013, with a price range somewhere around $30,000 this is certainly a car worth waiting for. First of all, note it will be based on the VW Golf – which by all means, is a stable, reliable car. The four-door sedan is simply a beauty, and it will probably be available in North America as well. Sadly, the RS3 might not be – it’s a thing with German cars and their delivery methods. Hybrid tech might be in line for the new model, along with AWD in order to focus better on fuel economy.

2.) 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA

Now you know the CLS right? Classy, pretty, simply stunning in other words. Say hello to its smaller brother, the CLA. The sad part for some is that this is the equivalent of the 1 series from BMW meaning that it’s a hatchback – but quite a sporty, sexy hatch. It’s also the first A-Class series that might even bring in a AMG version (if it catches on anyway). It might even see a double-clutch, automatic version – and did I tell you about the possibility of seven speeds being integrated in the AMG version.

To be honest, there’s a rumor about a sedan version as well, but whether it will come to America or not, that’s a different topic. With prices around $30,000 for the non-AMG version, it might as well.

3.) Hyundai Veloster

Right now, the Veloster model isn’t impressing anyone, so Hyundai thought it best to change that idea. It had a killer look, but when it came to its performance chart, most reviews were disappointing to say the least. It felt less refined when compared to sportier cars (even the GTI version of the Golf) and it felt a little bit expensive for what it had to offer. Nevertheless, this seems to be changing this year – sometime this year, the new Hyundai Veloster is sure to kick its old habits, turn in a brand new performance chart for prices as high as $23,000. And yes, nobody doubts there will be an American version for this one from the beginning.
