2013 Jaguar XJ Facelift

Jaguar has unveiled a facelifted XJ model for 2013MY. The most important update is the availability of an all-new supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. The six-cylinder is good for 335 horsepower and is bolted to a new eight-speed automatic gearbox with a start-stop function. The changes should help the big four-door yield a 14 percent improvement in fuel economy over the old naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 and its six-speed transmission.

2012 Jaguar XF Facelift

2012 Jaguar XF Facelift

Here are the first spy shots of the heavy camouflaged mule of the facelifted Jaguar XF that will receive its world premiere at next month’s New York Auto Show.

The facelift XF will receive a makeover that includes a new front fascia with new lights, a redesigned front grille and reshaped bumper, which oddly enough, bring it closer to the original C-XF Concept that previewed the car. The 2012 Jaguar XF will also benefit from tweaks to the interior and the overall quality, the introduction of new tech systems and an upgraded suspension for improved ride and handling.

2010 Jaguar XF-R

Jaguars XF sedan mule has been spied on public roads. Previous spy shots see here. This lightly camouflaged XF-R mule with a 500 horsepower supercharged V-8 churning away under the hood. The 5.0-liter eight banks engine is an all new direct injection engine as well, meaning that it’s likely cleaner and more frugal than big Jaguar engines of the past.

The XF-R will have a few subtle clues about its performance potential as well, with bigger shoes, a small rear lip spoiler, chromed quad exhaust tips, and revised bumpers.

2009 Jaguar XF-R

Meet the 2009 Jaguar XF-R. If you’re looking at the rear of the XF-R, you’ll be following a subtle lip spoiler on the bootlid, chunky quad pipes and we’d guess lurking under that white plastic disguise is a discrete diffuser. There is also a new design of alloy wheel reserved just for R models. Even standard cars can be specced with 20-inch wheels, so big rims are a must for the XF-R.

2008 Jaguar X-Type

Jaguar X-Type

Car online spread out spy sphotos of a face-lifted Jaguar X-Type. As evidenced by the strategic camo, the front grille, front and rear bumpers, moldings, and rims are likely to see an update, and changes to the X-Type’s aged interior are probable as well.

The facelifted Jaguar X-type will be seen later this year, going on sale in spring 2008.

2008 Jaguar

2008 Jaguar S-Type

The new S-Type was caught in the Californian desert. Code-named X250, the 2008 Jaguar S-Type will take direct aim at the BMW 5-Series. The new S-Type will adapt styling elements from both the RD6 and R Coupe concept cars and will be getting an oval mesh grille split by a chrome bar with the Jaguar badge. Engines come from the current S-Type lineup: a 2.7-liter turbodiesel, a 3.0-liter V-6 and a 300-hp, 4.2-liter V-8 will be carried over. A 420-hp V-8 will be derived from the XKR.

It’s expected that we’ll see the new S-type early in 2008. The photos show S-Type prototypes, while two additional computer renderings give an artist’s impression of how the new model could look like upon its release
