The legendary British automaker has revealed its updated 2011 model year flagship 4×4. Land Rover has introduced of an all-new 4.4-liter turbo diesel engine producing 313HP that replaces the current 3.6-liter with 271HP.
The V8 diesel will twist with a new ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifts. Land Rover claims that with this engine, the luxury 4×4 returns a combined fuel economy of 25.1 mpg US (9.4lt/100km).
The diesel-powered Range Rover goes from rest to 60mph (96km/h) in 7.5 seconds and completes the 50mph-75mph dash in 5.1 seconds.
The new Range Rover’s exterior styling with the revised front bumper with fog lamp surrounds, front grille and side vents in Titan finish, revised side sills, rear bumper and stainless steel exhaust finishers.
The 2011 Range Rover will arrive at the firm’s dealerships this fall.
