Skoda has unveiled its new Skoda Superb Combi Outdoor, wagon version of the Czech SuperB model. Unlike the VW Passat Alltrack, the Audi A4 and A6 Allroad and even Skoda’s own Octavia Scout, the Superb Combi Outdoor is only about the looks, as it doesn’t get a higher ride or a modified suspension nor any protective underbody plates.

Kia recalls Rio models over airbag issue

Bad news for Rio owners: due to a potentially faulty sensor mat, Kia is recalling around 73,000 Rio models from the 2006 to 2008 model years. The sensor in the passenger’s seat is susceptible to cracking from fatigue. If that happens, it may not be able to detect whether a child is in the seat, nor will it be able to adjust the airbag deployment settings so as not to deploy if there is a child present.

On the outside, facelifted 7-Series gets the new LED headlamps with corona rings, which are accompanied by the modified grille with nine slats instead of the previous 12, a revised front bumper, new indicators under the mirrors and a thin chrome strip connecting the two slim reflectors.

Jeep recalls nearly 68,000 Wrangler vehicles

Chrysler recalling approximately 67,872 Jeep Wrangler vehicles over a potential issue with the transmission skid plate. The safety recall involves vehicles from the 2010 model year, equipped with automatic transmissions. It’s been found that debris can collect on the skid plate that protects the transmission, leading to the risk of a fire if the debris makes contact with the nearby catalytic converter.
