2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe with 556HP Supercharged V8

The ultimate version of Cadillac’s all-new CTS Coupe will make its debut at upcoming 2010 International Auto Show in Detroit. The Caddy CTS-V Coupe packs the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine found in the sedan version. It produces a hefty 556 hp and 551 lb.-ft. of torque propelling the 2+2 coupe from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds.

Customers will have the choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle-shift control.

Cadillac says that the CTS-V Coupe has the same wheelbase as the CTS-V Sport Sedan, but its overall height is about two inches lower and its overall length is two inches shorter while the rear track is nearly an inch wider than the four-door model.

Volkswagen is ready to start producing next generation of its old compact-size model. The 2011 VW Jetta that was caught in Californian Death Valley undergoing testing on public roads. The camouflaged prototype test mule seen in the spy video suggests that the new Volkswagen Jetta will boast all-new sheetmetal with a pinch of Audi A4 styling cues in the profile and rear-end.

The Volkswagen’s new small sedan will most likely use bits and pieces from the VW Golf VI which in turn is largely based on the fifth-generation Golf.

In the U.S., we’ll see the 2011 VW Jetta being offered with latest 2.0 TSI petrol and TDI diesel engines.

Look at the first official photos of a convertible version of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class coupe that will make its world debut at next month’s Detroit auto show. The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Convertible, which replaces the CLK Cabriolet, features a classic soft top can be opened and closed fully automatically within 20 seconds.

Mercedes promises that Convertible’s boot capacity with the roof open is 300 liters, raising to 390 liters when closed.
