The new Golf GTD will make its world debut at this week’s 2009 AMI Motor Show in Leipzig, Germany. As we know, the Golf GTD is a diesel equivalent of the VW’s Golf GTI and it has been in Volkswagen’s range since 1982. VW says that the latest GTD’s version is based on the sixth-generation Golf and it will comes equipped with a 2.0-liter TDI turbodiesel engine with 170HP. The new Golf GTD hatch starts from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 8.1 seconds and have a top speed of 222km/h or 138mph.

Look like Mazda 2? The vehicle on the spy shots have different bumpers front and rear, it also features differently shaped taillights and headlamps, another bonnet, much shorter rear side-doors, a differently shaped and placed fuel filler cap and a different rear door.

Nissan has released some info about its facelifted 2010 GT-R hotcar. The facelifted AWD coupe received five-additional hp’s for a total output of 485-hp, revised suspension, brake and transmission, updated wheel finishes and standard front seat- and roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags. In result the price lifted on $3,950 for base Nissan GT-R and the GT-R Premium model. Total MSRP are $80,790 and $83,040 respectively.
In September 2008, Nissan hiked the prices for the base GT-R by a whopping $6,990, from $69,850 to $76,840, and by $7,190, from $71,900 to $79,090 for the Premium model.
Breaking news for Lamborghini’s fans: Lamborghini has released first official photos of the limited edition Murcielago LP 650-4 Roadster. The hot car will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Murcielago LP 650-4 Roadster comes with permanent four-wheel drive and is powered by an uprated 6.5-litre V12 engine producing 650HP (+10HP) and 660 Nm (486.8 lbs) of torque – hence the model’s LP 650-4 moniker.
The Lamborghini claims that the special edition version of the Murcielago Roadster can run from 0 to 100km/h (0-62mph) in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of around 330 Km/h (205mph).
Nissan presents today its new sportier looking version of the Sentra S. The Sentra SR starts with a standard Sentra 2.0 S and adds sport-inspired exterior enhancements, including SE-R-style front and rear fascias, side sills and rear spoiler; sport grille; dark chrome bezel headlights and dark smoked bezel taillights; 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels; and “SR” trunk lid badge.
The Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR will available in six colors and will be offered with a Charcoal cloth interior. Power comes from a 140-hp 2.0-liter four cylinder.

Styling is once again directed by Dirk van Braeckel. Switching from a Volkswagen Phaeton to an Audi A8 front axle allows for a shorter front overhang and results in a longer wheelbase for the coupe; the track is wider as well. The larger footprint yields a roomier rear seat and trunk.

Acura’s BMW X6 sporty crossover rival spotted again in Canada. The last time it was caught circulating the German’s N??rburgring wearing a lot more camouflage than this example.
Unfortunately, Acura hasn’t given any indication that this vehicle even exists. it’s wearing all the contemporary Acura styling cues and the N??rburgring pics clearly showed the shield grille through the camouflage. There’s not a lot of information going around in regards of the crossover’s hardware, but expect to see Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system making its appearance on the vehicle.
This test mule was snapped while it was conducting cold weather testing in Manitoba, Canada. Judging by the reduced amount of camouflage on this unit, it’s probably getting close to a public launch.
The all new model of the euro Honda Accord (also known in the United States as the Acura TSX) has been awarded with 5-stars under Euro NCAP’s safety rating scheme. In the previous rating system, the Accord had a 5 star adult occupant, 4 star child occupant and 3 star pedestrian protection scores
Euro NCAP’s new rating scheme uses a weighted score that combines adult (50 per cent), child (20 per cent) and pedestrian (20 per cent) protection assessment results with the availability of safety assistance devices such as the electronic stability control (10 per cent). Under the new rating system, a minimum score of 70 per cent overall is necessary for a 5-star rating. Honda’s Accord achieved an overall weighted score of 78 percent.
