Skoda wants to unveil its a new concept car at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The new concept is a well-known Fabia supermini, which is scheduled for a late 2014 reveal with a some redesign.
The new Skoda Fabia will be bigger than the current model. The current Fabia hatchback is 4,000-mm long, 1,642-mm wide and 1,498-mm tall and has a maximum storage space of 1,180 liters with the rear seats folded.
The new Skoda Fabia gets a new exterior, including a redesigned front grille with a larger Skoda badge (remember facelifted Yeti?). To better appeal to younger buyers, the new Fabia will focus on connectivity features.
The renewed Skoda Fabia will get 1.2-liter and 1.4-liter TSI petrol units, as well as a 1.6-liter diesel. The 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine from the VW Up may also be offered.
The Fabia will go on sale in early 2015 after an official reveal in late 2014.
