Here are the first official photos and video of the third generation of the Spanish Seat Leon. The VW division’s five-door hatch was officially unveiled today. The new 2013 Leon will also be available in a sportier looking three-door hatchback body style as well as an estate variant, with all three models to be launched into the market by next fall.

Look at the spy shots of new Seat??ôs Ibiza hatch. The Seat??ôs test mule was caught on night roads. The 2009 Seat Ibiza will be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show next March. As for the engine range, VW is preparing a new generation of 1.2-litre turbocharged engines which will substitute the current 1.4-litre normally aspirated petrol units in late 2008 or early 2009. At a later date Seat will enhance the range with the sporty versions, ???FR??? (1.4-litre turbo, 150Hp), and the ???Cupra???(1,8-liter turbo, 170+Hp).

The VW group to launch a new (for SA) Spanish car brand SEAT in South Africa later this year.

The Seat line-up includes the Alhambra, Altea, C??rdoba, Ibiza, Le??n and Toledo.

There is no official indication yet which models will go on sale here but we predict that the Le??n, Ibiza and Altea will make their way here.

Seat models shares engineering and components with VW products. Familiar VW engine options for Seat models are 1.9 TDI, 2.0 TDI and 2.0 FSI.
