Mercedes-Benz has released a first photos of its Concept Style Coupe ahead its world premiere at the Auto China 2012 in Beijing on April 23. The sleek looking concept of the production model will follow next year and which Mercedes will build at its new manufacturing facility in Hungary. It will likely be named CLC or CLA.

2013 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG

Mercedes-Benz released first official pictures of its V8-powered G63 AMG. The new G63 will be unveiled at the Auto China 2012 in Beijing. Its a second most powerful model in the 2013 G-Class series sports the same twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 direct injection petrol engine with a start-stop system found in other AMG models like the CLS 63 AMG and SL 63 AMG.

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport crossover joins brother’s Lancer on the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety list of Top Safety Picks. The designation applies only to 2012 models, as Mitsubishi made changes to the roof design this year that helped the Outlander Sport score a “Good” rating on the roof strength test. It also earned “Good” marks on frontal offset and side impact tests, and with standard stability control it met all the criteria for the IIHS award.

Toyota Recalling 700,000 Camry, Venza and Tacoma

Toyota recalling approximately 681,500 Camry, Venza and Tacoma vehicles. The first safety recall involves 70,500 Camry sedans from 2009 and 116,000 Venza crossovers from 2009 to 2011 to replace a stop lamp switch. Toyota said that during installation of the contact-type stop lamp switch on one of the U.S assembly lines, silicon grease may have reached the inside of the switch and caused an increase in electrical resistance.

BMW officially revealed the first official videos of both the Coupe and Convertible variants its M6 range. The new BMW M6 Convertible will be the first to arrive in the United States in June followed by the Coupe before the end of summer. No word about the price range in U.S. yet. But in the UK, the new M6 models go on sale on September, with the Coupe costing £93,795 and the Convertible £98,995.
