On Friday, VW’s spokesman Christoph Adomat announced that VW would start building the new Golf Mk7 at its plant in Puebla, Mexico, from the first quarter of 2014. Mexican-built VW Golfs will be sold in the North and South American markets and will supplement those imported from its German plants.

The new range-topping Acura RLX features the application of Precision All-Wheel Steer and Jewel Eye LED headlamps. Standard equipment includes Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Warning, with Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow, and Blind Spot Information (BSI) system trim and option specific.

The new generation of Lexus’ IS sport sedan will be unveiled soon at the Detroit Auto Show and will qrrive to dealerships this summer. It will be offered with an initial choice of two gasoline engines, include a 3.5-liter V6 and a four-cylinder hybrid. Lexus says it put the emphasis on the car’s sportier styling and handling, while also improving cabin space for rear passengers and luggage capacity.
