2014 Renault Scenic XMOD
Today Renault has released the first official pictures of the new a tall-riding version of its Scenic minivan with crossover options. The new model is named the XMOD and will make its world debut at upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
The new 2014 Renault Scenic XMOD will replace the regular Scenic, as Renault continues to wind down its offerings in the country after axing the Modus, Kangoo, Wind, Laguna, Espace and Gordini models.
General Motors recalling 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Yes! Its General Motors again! General Motors recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles from the 2012 model year over a potential airbag issue. The driver’s airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, Camaro and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. The airbag won’t deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
Toyota Recalls 907,000 Corollas and 385,000 Lexus IS Models
Today I have some bad news for japan car owners. Again from Toyota. So, what’s new? Toyota announced two separate recalls involving around 907,000 Corolla models and around 385,000 Lexus IS vehicles from a whole world. Most of the affected cars are located in the U.S. where the recall concerns 752,000 Corolla and Corolla Matrix vehicles from the 2003 and 2004MY, and 270,000 Lexus IS vehicles from the 2006-2012MY.
New VW Golf Mk7 for American Market will be Produced in Mexico
On Friday, VW’s spokesman Christoph Adomat announced that VW would start building the new Golf Mk7 at its plant in Puebla, Mexico, from the first quarter of 2014. Mexican-built VW Golfs will be sold in the North and South American markets and will supplement those imported from its German plants.
Ford Fusion have received the highest five-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA
Ford Fusion and Fusion Hybrid have both received the five-star safety rating from the NHTSA. The highest five-star rating is a great upgrade for the Ford Fusion, which was redesigned. The previous model scoring only three stars in the frontal crash test and four stars in the side crash test and rollover evaluations. The new 2013 Ford Fusion received four stars in side crash and rollover testing and a five stars in the front crash test.

2014 Acura RLX priced
Toyota’s luxury division has released pricing for its all-new flagship, Acura RLX, at the Detroit Auto Show. Powered by an all-new direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 rated at 310 horsepower, the front-wheel-drive sedan replaces the outgoing RL model as the automaker’s new flagship.
The new range-topping Acura RLX features the application of Precision All-Wheel Steer and Jewel Eye LED headlamps. Standard equipment includes Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Warning, with Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow, and Blind Spot Information (BSI) system trim and option specific.
All-New 2014 Lexus IS Sedan
The new generation of Lexus’ IS sport sedan will be unveiled soon at the Detroit Auto Show and will qrrive to dealerships this summer. It will be offered with an initial choice of two gasoline engines, include a 3.5-liter V6 and a four-cylinder hybrid. Lexus says it put the emphasis on the car’s sportier styling and handling, while also improving cabin space for rear passengers and luggage capacity.
