Here are the first official pictures of a German luxury four-door sports sedan based on the A-Class MFA front-wheel drive platform, called CLA. The new CLA may be equipped with the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system being available as an option and it will launch with a 207HP turbocharged 2.0-liter four-banger in the U.S. and a wider range of gasoline and diesel engines in Europe and other markets.

Audi unveils its SQ5 with 354-hp gasoline engine in the U.S. American version SQ5 loses some torque but gains plenty of horsepower with Audi quoting power ratings of 354 horsepower and 346 lb-ft from the supercharged 3.0-liter V6. Power is fed through an eight-speed automatic to all four wheels giving the small CUV impressive performance numbers. The 0-60 mile per hour time is expected to be in the low five second range to go with an electronically limited top speed of 155 miles per hour. The suspension has been upgraded as well to improve handling, but it also gives the SQ5 a sportier appearance with a ride height that has been lowered by more than an inch compared to a standard Audi Q5.

Infiniti Etherea Concept

Infiniti confirmed on Wednesday it has decided to build the new car, based on Etheria concept, in the UK and is scheduled to begin in 2015. Production will take place at Nissan’s Sunderland manufacturing facility. While the Japanese carmaker has yet to show the production version of the as-of-yet unnamed compact model, it has previewed it with the Etherea concept.
