2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel

Porsche will reveal the Cayenne Diesel at the upcoming 2012 Detroit Motor Show, which will arrive in showrooms in 2013. The Cayenne Diesel was recently updated with a modified version of the VW’s 3.0-liter V6 featuring a new turbocharger, increased direct injection pressure and a lighter crankshaft.

The diesel unit is rated at 245-horses offering the Cayenne a 0 to 62 mph sprint time of 7.6 seconds and a top speed of 137 mph, while returning a combined fuel consumption of 32.7 mpg.

NHTSA investigating 2003 Infiniti M45

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation concerning Infiniti M45 sedans from the 2003 – 2004 model year. The NHTSA has received 43 complaints about inaccurate fuel gauge readings, and in 26 of these cases, the improperly calibrated fuel gauges have led to instances of engine stalling.

Nissan Recalling 34,000 Sentra Sedans

Nissan recalling near 34,000 2010-2011 model year Sentra sedans because of a battery cable problem that could potentially cause the engines to stall. Nissan explained that the zinc coating applied to the terminal stud bolt may be too thick and as a result, it could lead to a voltage drop the can damage the engine control module.

Last year, the 2011 Camry took home four stars in the evaluations.
