Citroen has released the first photos of its new Citro??n C4 Picasso. Real car will unveil at the 2006 Paris Motor Show.

The C4 Picasso sports distinctive styling and a host of original features that make travelling by MPV an even more comfortable and enjoyable experience:

– outstanding visibility and clarity with the wide-angle panoramic windscreen,
– an uncluttered front compartment with an innovative drive station and the new 6-speed electronic gearbox system,

– original seat-folding functions that allow the interior layout to be reconfigured quickly and simply, thus accommodating up to seven occupants comfortably,
– unparalleled interior comfort with temperature control, soundproofed windows and air quality sensors,
– a comfortable ride and a pleasant drive, with pneumatic suspension at the rear.

The new Citro??n C4 Picasso is expected to go on sale in November.

China’s Chery A5 to be produced in Egypt

Chery A5

Chinese carmaker Chery Automobile announced that chery’s two car, A5 with a 1.6-liter engine and A6 with a 2.0-liter engine, would be assembled in Egypt. The lines were under the cooperation with Daewoo Motors Egypt (DME). According to the agreement, DME would pay for the use of Chery’s technologies and brand. The assembled Chery sedans would be sold in Egypt under a new name of Speranza.

The 2003 Enzo Ferrari was crashed on Utah Fast Pass Road Rally. $1.3 million Ferrari after veering off the road lost its transmission and V-12 engine and came to rest off the other side of the road. The driver was flown to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

Audi is introducing the 2007 S3 model. The Audi S3 comes with a 265 HP version of the 2 litre four-cylinder TFSI motor coupled to a 4wd system and 6-speed gearbox. The engine’s max. power at 6,000 rpm and the car’s performance allows a max. speed limited to 155 mph plus 0 – 62 mph (100 km/h) achieved in just 5.7 seconds.

Jeep Liberty

Chrysler is recalling Jeep Liberty SUVs because of the potential loss of steering control. The recall 832,000 affects Liberty SUVs from the 2002-2006 model years. Liberty’s owners will receive notices about the recall in September and the affected ball joints will be replaced at no cost.

The ball joints has troubled the Liberty before. The suspension recalled 300,000 2002-2003 Liberty SUVs in 2003.

Liberty is poor SUV. 🙁

Facelifted Hyundai Coupe

Hyundai has revealed a facelifted Tiburon (Coupe) at the Guangzhou Motor Show, China.

At the rear, the sports coupe has been given a more aggressive edge with a fashionable rear undertray. Inside, the upgrades are less noticeable. Hyundai is concentrating on material quality and the car’s fit and finish.

The facelifted Coupe is due on sale later this year, but the revisions are only skin deep. Hyundai has confirmed that there are no mechanical changes or engine upgrades in the pipeline.

Expect these facelifted Tiburon (Coupe) to appear in Europe in 2007 before the all-new Hyundai Coupe arrives in 2008.

2007 Isuzu i-370

Isuzu i-370

Isuzu announced yesterday that it will add two pickup trucks to 2007 line. The Isuzu i-370 4×2 Extended Cab and the Isuzu i-370 4×2 Crew Cab will join the already announced i-290 4×2 Extended Cab and the i-370 4×4 Crew Cab.

Both models will be powered by a Vortec 3700 3.7-liter inline five-cylinder engine developing 242 horsepower and 242 foot-pounds of torque mated to a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Other standard equipment includes power windows, power door locks, power outside mirrors, remote keyless entry, and body side moldings.

2007 Isuzu’s models will be protected by the good warranty – seven years or 75,000 miles. New trucks will be on market in October 2006. Price list will be announced later.
