2013 Peugeot 2008 Small Crossover Concept

Today Peugeot released fresh details of the new Peugeot’s 2008 Concept. The closely related production model will be launched beginning from 2013. The Peugeot’s 2008 Concept is small crossover in the likes of the Nissan Juke and GM’s Chevrolet Trax and Opel Mokka (Buick Encore in North America). It is based on the 208 supermini.

Peugeot Reveals All-New 208 GTi Hot Hatch

Peugeot officially introduced today the all-new 208 GTi hatch, which will be revailed at the Paris Motor Show on September 27. The initial specifications of the new hot hatch say that the new model is a whopping 165kg lighter than the 207 RC (called GTi in the UK). The new hatch also more powerful than the 175hp 207 RC / GTi as it is equipped with the same 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol found in the flagship version of the RCZ Coupe, which generates an output of 197hp.

The interesting results of the EuroNCAP tests for six brand new models were published. The all new 2013 models including the Audi A3 hatchback, Renault Clio supermini, Ford B-MAX minivan, Kia Cee’d hatch, Isuzu D-Max pickup and Volvo V40 compact have undergone safety tests by Euro NCAP and all but one of the vehicles assessed received the full five-star rating.

Look at the first official photos of the all-new 2013 Toyota Auris and its hybrid variation. This model will be sold in Europe and Japan as the Corolla. The new Auris will make its world premiere at the upcoming Paris Motor Show at the end of September.

The new Auris rides on a modified version of the previous model’s platform keeping the same 2,600mm wheelbase and 1,760mm width, but is 30mm longer at 4,275mm. The interior of the new Auris has been redesigned with higher quality materials.

The Korean carmaker unveiled its addition for Genesis luxury sedan lineup. Its a little redesigned version for U.S. market with a 385hp 4.6-liter V8 and the standard 5.0-liter V8 units. Both engines are linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels with the R-Spec gaining a sportier setup.

The German automaker is recalling all 2012 and 2013MY Mercedes-Benz ML-Class vehicles because of problems with the all-season floor mats. Mercedes-Benz said that the mats may not fully conform to the contour of the vehicle’s floor and could interfere with the accelerator pedal.
