2012 Honda Fit
Honda has unveiled photos and specs for its facelifted Fit. 2012 model year Fit hatchback exterior updates include a revised front grille and bumper, black headlight bezels and a dark finish for the alloy wheels.
2012 Porsche 911
Here are the first photos of the new 2012 Porsche 911 ahead of the world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. As you see, the 2012 Porsche 991 was closely modeled after the outgoing 997 model.
The most eye-catching alterations concern the concave front LED daytime running lamps, the door-mounted exterior mirrors and the much thinner and more futuristic looking LED tail lamps that adorn the more heavily sculpted rear end.
2011 Volkswagen Jetta TDI being investigated over potential fuel leak
NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) is launching an investigation concerning 40,000 2011 Volkswagen Jetta TDI models. This is the result of NHTSA receiving complaints from Jetta TDI owners citing leakage from the fuel line to the fuel injector. If an official recall is issued, both the 2011 Jetta TDI sedan and SportWagen will be affected.
Mazda CX-5 Compact SUV
Mazda has unveiled a production version of its compact SUV that we will be named as the CX-5. The world debut of the Mazda CX-5 SUV will be made at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September and will go on sale in 2012.
Mazda says the CX-5 is its first production model to adopt the new “KODO – Soul of Motion” design theme that we saw in the Minagi and Shinari concept cars. The highlights of this new theme are a prominent front fascia and a more dynamic styling which the company says conveys “a strong sense of vitality and agility”.
Audi A6 Hybrid Confirmed for the U.S. market
Great news for green Audi’s fans in U.S. Officially, Audi still refuses to confirm that the A6 hybrid will be offered in the U.S., but we have confirmation from several reliable sources within Audi that the new A6 Hybrid will be sold in the USA starting from next year with a price starts from $55,000. It is believed that the U.S.-spec hybrid model will be similar to the euroversion that also goes on sale in 2012.
The European model employs a parallel hybrid concept combining a 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline engine delivering 211-horses and 350 Nm with an electric motor that produces an output of 33 kW (45 hp) and 211 Nm of torque.

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Black Series
Mercedes-Benz unveils the hot C63 AMG Coupe Black Series. The AMG Black Series is powered by the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 but AMG’s modifications include forged pistons, conrods and crankshaft, a 50% bigger oil cooler and a new ECU, it churns out 517HP and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft)of tarmac-tearing torque.
All this power is channeled to the 19-inch rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch AMG Speedshift transmission. The gearbox has four modes and its fastest gear change time is just 100 milliseconds. Performance is exceptional: the C63 AMG Black Series accelerates from a standstill to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds.
