BMW recalls of five models over fire risk.
BMW has issued a recall over 32,000 cars and CUVs covering the years 2008-2011 due to a fire risk. Turbocharged eight- and twelve-cylinder engines in the 5 Series, 5 Series Gran Turismo, 7 Series, X5 and X6 could suffer from overheating circuit boards that control the electric auxiliary water pump.
2013 Audi A4 Facelift
Audi unveiled first official photos of its restyling A4 model. The facelifted A4 lineup look like 2011MY A8 and new 2012MY A6. The refreshed A4 have got new six-point grille and sharp headlamps with LED daytime lights that form a narrow band, redesigned front and rear bumpers, plus tweaked tail lights that reflect the shape of the head lights.
Ford Ranger is Awarded 5 Stars in Euro NCAP Crash Tests
All-new Ford Ranger is the first pickup tested by the Euro NCAP to achieve a five-star top rating. The Ranger’s overall score was 89%, one of the highest regardless of class. The new Ford Ranger received the best rating ever for pedestrian protection among the cars tested by the Euro NCAP since 1997, with an 81% score.

NHTSA announces list of 2012 models to be tested
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has released a list of 74 vehicles for the 2012 model year that it plans on crash testing. The vehicles include 42 passengers cars, 22 SUVs, eight trucks and two vans. NHTSA claims the list represents about 81 percent of the 2012 model year vehicles that will be on sold in the U.S., and further claims it will be performing rollover tests on 92 percent of the 2012 fleet.
Sixth Generation of BMW’s 3-Series Sedan
BMW unveiled today the all-new 3-Series. The sixth generation of its luxury sedan will be available to markets worldwide from February 11, 2012. The sixth generation mid-size BMW has grown considerably compared to its predecessor. It is 93 mm longer and an augmented wheelbase at 2,810 mm (+50mm) as well as wider front (+37 mm) and rear (+47 mm) tracks.
The Sixth Generation model will initially be offered at launch with four TwinPower turbocharged engines: two petrol and two diesel units, which are available with two transmissions, a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic, the latter being a first in its class.
2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible
General Motors unveiled a new photos of its roofless all-new 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible. The new soft-top Camaro is scheduled to go on sale in late 2012 and will made a world premier at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The most interested in the new Camaro is 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V8 engine rated at 580 horsepower and 556 lb.-ft. of peak torque.
GM Debuts First Automotive Front Center Air Bag
General Motors is introducing the automotive industry’s first front center air bag, designed to protect the driver and front passenger in far-side impact crashes. The new front center air bag will make its production debut on the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, and Chevrolet Traverse crossovers starting from the 2013 model year. It will be standard on Acadia and Traverse with power seats and all Enclaves.
