2015 VW Polo GTI Facelift

The Golf Polo GTI facelift is ready to arrive to coming at next month’s Paris Motor Show. The new model gets a new 1.8-liter turbo unit that replaces the previous 1.4-liter turbo engine. The four-cylinder engine produces 190PS and 320Nm, an increase of 10 horsepower and 70Nm over the smaller displacement 1.4-liter turbo unit.

VW Twin-Up Prototype

VW is ready to unveil its new Twin-Up prototype at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show (November 22 – December 1). Its a special Up study, featuring an upgraded version of the diesel electric hybrid from the XL1. So, the new VW prototype will get something near 1 liter/100 km (235 mpg US) fuel consumption.

Volkswagen Golf GTD Priced in the UK

New VW Golf Mk7 for American Market will be Produced in Mexico

On Friday, VW’s spokesman Christoph Adomat announced that VW would start building the new Golf Mk7 at its plant in Puebla, Mexico, from the first quarter of 2014. Mexican-built VW Golfs will be sold in the North and South American markets and will supplement those imported from its German plants.

List of safest cars for 2013

VW recalls 2012-2013 Beetle models

2013 VW Beetle Convertible Goes on Sale in Germany

Volkswagen has released pricing for the cabrio version of its new Beetle in Germany, with more European countries to follow. North American sales to begin before the end of the year, after its world premiere at this month’s Los Angeles Auto Show. Sorry, but no word about pricing for U.S. yet.
